His clinical interests include: *Adult and pediatric cardiac surgery *Cardiac transplantation *Marfan syndrome *Mitral valve repair *Aortic surgery including valve-sparing aortic root replacement He is the editor, along with Stephan C. Yang of ''Current Therapy in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.''
